Who We Are
Alp Ateş
I write fictional short stories that try to explore the complex human nature and all of its wonders, such as feelings and patterns of action, or just situations. The stories are often ambitious and try to be artistic in that they always feature themes or illustrative descriptions that create vivid images in your head that are supposed to arouse your curiosity and evoke different emotions. I also believe that the less the reader knows about my characters, the better. My primary interests include noir themes in literature, and historical and theological fiction. My works are bound to revolve around the concepts of sexuality, violence, betrayal and hopelessness.

I'm not the best at writing, nor do I always enjoy doing it. But sometimes, it comes together and works well for me (but not necessarily for the readers). I don't expect many to read this, but it is nice to get words out of my head and onto the web. Almost everything I write on The Galpy is fiction, as is obvious from the posts, but there are some pockets of truths in a few of my stories!
